Class Description

The human body’s Lymphatic Circulation System is a delicate yet powerful part of our daily waste elimination and  overall health. In this course the participants will  learn a manual lymph drainage technique that will assist in the elimination of stagnant metabolic waste.

Clients with compromised systems and specific conditions that  effect the lymphatic system  benefit greatly from massage and manual lymph drainage techniques .  Participants will learn lymph drainage protocol including  lymph circulation pattern, indications for compromised lymph vessels or nodes as well as condition specific indications and contraindications

Presenter Bio:

Shawnte’ is a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2001, has practiced Massage in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee and currently in Chesapeake, Virginia. A Massage Instructor at a local Massage Therapy program and teaching advanced courses locally for 4 years as an approved provider with NCBTMB. Shawnte’ has run a private mobile massage practice that also includes business consultation, and customer service training, Shawnte’ believes the Elements of Health include educating clients and peers in various forms of bodywork, sharing a passion for human anatomy and love for facilitating healing within the community, and ensuring one’s cup is full through self-care for nourishing others.
