The Solution Is the Sides:  Approaching the Body from All Angles (14 CE Hours)

One of our most common habits is that we get stuck seeing our clients in just two dimensions—the body becomes just a back and a front.  The result: we get bored, and the client doesn’t get better. But there is a solution: approaching the body from the sides. We will keep the client in our typical massage positions—working prone, then working supine—but we will explore areas of the body that are often overlooked—namely, the lateral musculature, everything from the scalenes to gluteus medius to the peroneals. In this workshop, we tackle familiar client complaints, but from unusual angles, using unusual techniques.

This class is approved by the NCBTMB for 14 CE hours for NC LMBTs.

Each participant should wear comfortable clothing (possibly layers)

Participants need to bring:

• Sheets
• Massage Oil/Lotion
• Facility will have Massage Tables for participant usage
